List of the games:
- Klondike: This is possibly the most known solitaire card game. On its traditional form, it is a single deck card game, but it can be played with two card decks (called Double Klondike).
Some known variations of the Klondike solitaire are: Agnes, Easthaven, Thumb and Pouch, Westcliff and Whitehead among others. The first version of Klondike for personal computer was included in Windows 3.0 and was called just Solitaire.
- FreeCell: Played with a single card set, Free Cell has a layout that permits a very high percentage of winning games.
- Spider Solitaire: More than simply the name of a solitaire, Spider is the category of solitaire card games which allow sequences to be built on the tableau and only when a sequence is complete it will be moved to the foundation. The origin of Spider is American and it is also know as "Roosevelt's Favourite".
- Canfield: It is said that this solitaire was born as a casino game owing its name to the owner of the casino. It is an easy to play solitaire game, but the chances of winning are rather low.
It may also be known as Demon, Devil's Own, Fascination, Pounce, Racing Demon or Thirteen.
- Pyramid: In this particular solitaire game, also played with a single card deck, the cards are displayed on the form of a Pyramid.
The origin of this solitaire is French and
it may be known also as Egyptian Campaign or Pile of Twenty-Eight.
